With 40 years experience Diane is well known both nationally and internationally for her clinical work on thoracic, lumbar and pelvic disability and pain. Diane has had the honour of collaborating with local, national and worldwide authorities to further her own education and integrates this knowledge into courses/models she teaches.

Experienced Clinician

Diane has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since receiving her degree in the Science of Rehabilitation from UBC in 1976 and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy since 1981. She is the owner, director and a practicing physiotherapist at Diane Lee & Associates. In 2016, she was recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association as a clinical specialist in Women’s Health for her expertise in the thorax, pelvic girdle and abdominal wall.

The Integrated Systems Model

The strength of the Integrated Systems Model is that it integrates knowledge from multiple sources with the aim to treat the whole person in the context of achieving optimal health. The ISM courses have been totally reorganized since 2013 and there is a lot more time for hands-on practical and peer-learning since the main lectures can be reviewed online. These changes have received rave reviews!

The ISM Team

The ISM team is comprised of both associates from Diane Lee & Associates as well as highly skilled ISM practitioners whom Diane has chosen to assist her on workshops and courses. As of 2019, all assistants will have either achieved their ISM certification or are in the process of doing so. Collectively, we come to learn with each other and from each other. The quality and efficacy of the ISM Series relies on the senior assistants who are currently Cathy Rogers, Leigh Fortuna and Calvin Wong. The ISM Series now embraces contributions from past ISM Series graduates Dr. Hollis Herman, Dr. Laurie McLaughlin, Dr. Gail Wetzler, Rachael Corbett and Tamarah Nerreter, all leaders in their own fields.
