About Chelsea

Growing up as a contemporary dancer, Chelsea has always been drawn to the sacredness of movement. She began practicing Yoga in 2006 to heal a dance-related hip injury and quickly discovered that the practice of Yoga runs much deeper than the physical postures. Through Yoga, she has learned how to breathe more fully, move more freely and be more present in her own body and life. As a Yoga Therapist, Chelsea helps others with mental/emotional conditions (such as Post-Traumatic Stress, Anxiety, and Insomnia) and physical conditions (such as Arthritis, Sciatica, and Physical Injury) return to optimal health through the use of breath and movement.

Chelsea completed her Bachelor of Arts (2009) and Master of Management (2010) at the University of British Columbia. It didn’t take long working at a Corporate job for Chelsea to realize that she was on the wrong path. Her passion is movement and working with others, which lead her to complete her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Rachel Scott (YYoga), in 2011.

In 2013, Chelsea completed her 500 hr Teacher Training and her Diploma of Yoga Therapy with Nikki Manzie at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. In 2015 Chelsea, developed and taught the inaugral 300 hour Yoga Therapy program at the Vancouver School of Yoga.
