Jason Kresic
Physiotherapist
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Jason is new to the Motion Matters Team, arriving in March 2009. After graduating from the University of Ottawa with his baccalaureate in physiotherapy, he started his professional career split between an inpatient medical setting at the Ottawa Hospital and the outpatient sports medicine setting at a private orthopedic clinic in Orleans. These founding experiences provided him with a unique opportunity to work with a diverse clientele as well as, gain wide-based clinical knowledge and develop a multifaceted set of treatment skills.

In order to provide the best possible standard of care, Jason believes in the client-centered approach to physiotherapy. This is supported by his strong interest in staying current on the latest medical research and taking post-graduate physiotherapy courses. Jason passion for professional development has driven him to accept a position as an executive member of the National Capital Unit (NCU) of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). As the Education Chair, Jason is responsible to organize and promote local post-graduate orthopaedic courses.

Jason’s endless energy has him moving all year long. In the winter, Jason is an avid snowboarder. When he’s not on the hills, you will find him playing indoor soccer. As soon as the snow disappears, he can be found on various soccer fields in the Ottawa area…trying to convince his audience that he could be the next Pele. Jason also has a vivid imagination!
