Cara Humphries

I want to let you know that I really appreciate you and your approach to assessment, diagnosis and movement retraining. Over the years, your ideas, innovations, and concepts have had a huge impact on me as a therapist.  It has been a big part of what inspired (and still inspires) me to continue learning and seeking out more knowledge and skills.

It is obvious when watching you teach that you really care about improving patient/therapist experiences and the quality of care across disciplines.  Some instructors have given me the impression that they want their students to abandon what they know, with the goal that they should learn to treat just like them.  I have the strong impression that you want your students to think for themselves (with guidance), to add to the skills/knowledge that we currently have, to think critically about what we do and to integrate all of our knowledge to be the best version of ourselves that we can be.  I find that incredibly motivating.
